The Christian mystical tradition is a powerful and glorious expression of love. It is the well-spring of wisdom from which all of Christianity may drink deeply and celebrate union with God. This tradition calls us to awaken our mystical consciousness and let that be the root from which we take action. It is a tradition that calls for radical courage and risk, encouraging us to face whatever challenges we must to transform injustice, and superficiality with love. The teacher of this radical loving is of course, Christ, who’s passion for transformation and spiritual revolution and evolution, is an example for all mystic hearts. Every Christian Mystic expresses his or her relationship with Divine Love differently and yet, their paths are remarkably transformative. Christian Mystics have stood  against dogma’s and fundamental pulpits that keep oppression alive, even at great peril to themselves. Emulating Christ, they have stood up for what is just, and what is kind, and have walked the passionate path of deep compassion. The mystical treasures that can be found within this tradition are many, and expressed in such profound ways by their mystics. Most Christian traditions have ignored their mystic roots, perpetuating Christ’s suffering as the main tenant of their faith. However, there is very rich and deep well of joy, and transformational action, and spiritual connection to drink from in this tradition.
