What Is Interfaith Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual Direction is a form of spiritual companioning or mentoring. Spiritual Directors help us live in alignment with our most soulful life, assisting us in staying connected to spiritual wisdom, moving us forward toward a life of deep heart and meaning.

In Interfaith Spiritual Direction we touch our own wisdom and deepen our relationship with the divine in whatever form or spiritual tradition serves us. It is a unique session in that life's problems and challenges are met through the heart. We share our encounters with the divine and explore spiritual practices to heal ourselves, and our relationships, while expanding out awareness of life's spiritual aliveness. All aspects of life and relationship may be discussed, but the focus is not on the story, or the problem. Instead, the intent is to connect with our inner wisdom to find the right solutions and heal our wounds. The director listens and asks questions to assist us in our process of inquiry, reflection and spiritual growth. Spiritual Direction supports us in growing our personal relationship with the great Mystery, and to deepen our ability to experience ITs presence in ourselves and our lives.
